Troika School

Troika school is a bilingual school located in the heart of Lagos (Lekki-ajah axis). With over 200 students and over 30 staff located on a campus, it is one of the leading bilingual schools, noted for achieving exceptional academic results. .

Where they were

Troika school wanted to provide teachers and students with a more productive and secure learning environment by installing a security surveillance system . This investment was seen by the school as a critical step to maintaining its position as a school of choice through the delivery of secure and effective learning.

What we did

Troika School, in partnership with Alphonet Solutions Ltd, embarked on a full-scale installation of High Definition IP Surveillance cameras strategically in all class rooms and as well around the exterior of the building to cover parking lot and play grounds.

The solution also utilised an IP network video recorder (NVR). The NVR allowed up to 64 cameras to be connected at a time, it has a storage capacity of about 32 terabytes and can continuously record up to 550Mpbs of video at 20 frames per second . Big screens were also installed in the principal and vice principal's offices which enabled them to view all cameras at a time. With a requirement to have the surveillance up and running by the end of the year, the team had to work towards a very tight deadline.

The Results

The school is now getting positive feedbacks from parents with respect to the newly installed security surveillance system. "with the new security surveillance system in place, videos are backup remotely on Alphonet's cloud and also the head of can as well view the school remotely on her phone and ipad, " said Tosin Moses -The CEO.
